They happen on romantically lit rooftops, secret boat docks, abandoned warehouses, or your neighbor’s dining room. Invitation only private dining events are as exclusive as they are exhilarating experiences where diners come together to network, connect, and enjoy amazing food. At these private supper clubs, the social component of dining together is almost as important as the food itself.

Here’s the inside scoop on some of the most exciting supper clubs happening all over the world:

Hidden away at Newark Liberty International Airport is a discrete dining experience for United Airlines’ premium passengers known as Classified, a speakeasy-style restaurant in the back of a French bistro in Terminal C. Only preselected United Mileage Plus customers with a flight booking will have received an invitation via email. The establishment promises a selection of food and an ambiance that serves as a relaxing escape from the clamour of the airport. Passengers with a reservation meet in front of the bistro, Saison, and are taken back behind an inconspicuous blue door.

Downtown L.A.’s best-kept secret is Wolvesden, the rustic supper club that offers an interactive dinner experience for its guests. If you plan on ordering seafood, be prepared to help participate in the kill, just like any wolf would for its meal. Wolvesden has no menu, which means there’s something new and exciting to expect every time you dine. Dinner guests spend no less than $100 per person on at least a seven course meal, with entrees varying from seafood to stuffed rabbit, garnished with colorful spices and savory sides. To get invited, you can sign up on Wolvesden’s mailing list online to receive an invitation via email. Once invited, the restaurant will disclose its address and other location details.
